When we talk to people, we’re very aware of the vibe and words we’re sending out. But with ourselves, it’s kinda different. Sometimes we forget that we also need to know how to communicate with ourselves. Being kind to yourself is just as necessary as it is to be kind to the ones around you.
If you have been reading this blog on a regular basis, you will know how big a fan I am of self-love. So, a really important mental exercise that we need to do every day is engaging the positive self-talk. There are things that we need to say to ourselves that will help us face every day with a smile on our faces and a positive mindset.
Here are a few things that you must tell yourself every single day:
- Today will be a good day
Start your day with a positive attitude! Look yourself into the mirror and tell yourself that today will be a great day! Greet and smile to everyone who passes by you, hold the door, compliment someone, and appreciate your morning coffee, the sky, and the nature around you. It’s the little things that make a big change in your mood.
- I am loved
Don’t ever forget to remind yourself that there’s someone out there who loves you no matter what.
- I am strong
This is your reminder that you can handle everything this day will throw at you. Remind yourself that you’re strong enough to take on the challenges without giving up.
- Everything happens for a reason
You either win or you learn. Every situation has shaped you up to be the person that you are right now. Everything that happens (even if it’s good or bad) is just a pathway to being a better person.
- I love myself the way I am
Accept yourself with your strengths and flaws. You’re a unique human being. And don’t ever compare yourself to others.
- Everything will be okay
Things eventually get better with time, always. Time heals and you will come out stronger.
- I am enough
You are and always be enough. You are more than capable of getting all of what you want in life.
Sometimes we can get a bit insecure when we see that there are people having a better job, a better house, and a nice car. Not having the same things as the other person does not mean we’re a failure. We all have a different purpose in this life.
- I am grateful
Practicing gratitude can literally change everything. This will help you focus more on what you have and to appreciate everything around you. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never have enough.
Self-talk is so important in our everyday life. Really try to incorporate these small sentences on a daily basis. Choose your words wisely when you talk with yourself.

Grazie ancora 🙏

Thank you so much for this lovely reminder of self love. Ever since I started reading your posts, life has been colorful, it helps me get over(heal) the great loss of my 5 year relationship, that ended 6 months after the engagement. No matter how much pain we all go through in life. Getting to see life with this beautiful lense(persepective) cleanses the soul.
You helped me remind myself that I am enough and I am loved, that the one person who will remain forever and will never let me down, is me ,myself and I.
I am and will always be the reason for my own happiness🌻, thanks to your positive heartwarming posts🤗😃🥰❤🌹🌻🌸🌺💐
