It’s Okay To Be Who You Are

It’s okay to be broken. To wear the scars of experience.

It’s okay to be a mess.

It’s okay to have bad days, we all have them.

It’s ok to be unsure. At some or other point, we all get stuck in life and we ask ourselves the very same questions.

It’s okay to be sentimental. To cry bittersweet tears at songs and movies.

It’s okay to like what you like, to not follow trends just because people think they are cool or popular.

It’s okay to be sad for no reason.

It’s okay not to make the most of every chunk of time.

It’s ok to have a setback in life. Setbacks are just reminders that something is not right. You need to slow things down and re-think.

It’s ok that not everything is ok in your life all the time.

It’s okay to be who you are.

There isn’t a right or wrong way to be yourself. There is no one else like you. It’s what makes you unique.

Be comfortable with who you are – what you think and feel, mistakes you’ve made, pain, anger, and fears you’ve worked through. Forgive yourself for what you’ve done in the past and accept and love yourself for who you are. Once you start loving yourself, life becomes simpler and lighter and happy!

There is nothing wrong with you and has never been, even if you think it or others say it about you.

You are not in competition with anyone else. We can all succeed in our own ways and that is what makes life so incredible.

You cannot be perfect at everything. No one is.

You are a capable, beautiful, intelligent, and talented person just as you were meant to be.

You are good enough. You always have been and will be enough. Memorize these words. Lock them down in your brain.

So go out into the world feeling proud of who you are today! ❤️
