A lot of us are motivated to change, but how do we make that change? And where do we start? There are three steps to making change happen in your life:
- Awareness of what needs to be changed
- Inspiration to change
- Commitment to change
Keep these steps in mind especially commitment. Commit to taking action and making real changes in your life.

✨ Adopt a healthier lifestyle
Eat more fruits and veggies, healthy grains, and nuts. Eat less processed foods. Drink a lot of water. Ease into your new diet at your own pace. But remember that nobody has a perfect diet. Listen to your body, he knows what’s best for him. Exercise, stretch, go for walks. Your body will thank you for that.

Your morning routine sets the tone for your day, so it’s very important to start your mornings the best way possible! Design your ideal morning routine around the activities that make you feel good about yourself and begin to implement that for the new year.

Books are one of the cheapest and most efficient ways to learn. Spend less time on your phone and more time reading. Try to read at least half an hour before bed.
✨ Declutter more often
It’s easier to work and have a clear mind if your view in front of you is clear. And it feels so good to purge your things. It’s like releasing old energy to make room for the new. Just keep the things that bring you joy.
✨ Make effort in your relationships
We all need human connection. And after this year, we need it more than ever. Push yourself to reach out to the people you love, make a new friend, or reconnect with an old one, send letters, tell how much you love and miss them.
✨ Be vulnerable
Allow yourself to be vulnerable and open up about your feelings, your fears, your honest experiences. We all need to talk and express our feelings after everything we’ve been through, especially this year.
✨ Cut out one bad habit
Pick one bad habit that negatively impacts you and holds you back from who you want to be. For example, one of my biggest bad habits it’s the ridiculous amount of time that I spend on my phone. Really try to pick one bad habit and try to be more conscious about it. Replace that bad habit with a new better one.
✨ Create a new habit
Commitment is the key. Choose a habit you really want to implement in your life and try to adopt it into your daily life. You can choose a new habit from our app and commit to them for 21 days or you can create your own 😊
✨ Make peace with your past
Accept the past, you can’t change it. And acknowledge that you can simply choose to let go. It’s a liberating feeling.
✨ Be more present
We often find ourselves stuck in the past or worried about the future that it takes away from everything going on right in front of us. Try to focus on what is going on right now. You’re able to feel more joy, more gratitude, and more peace when you’re more present.
These are some of the ideas to change your life in the next year. Some people are afraid to make resolutions because they always end up giving up. And most of the times we give up because:
- We set unrealistic resolutions
- We overwhelm ourselves
- We get busy and allow other things to take priority.
If you really want to stick to your new year’s resolutions and goals this year, follow these steps:
- Build trust with yourself
- Prioritize and focus on your goals
- Take small steps every day
- Keep trying and don’t stop at failure
- Reevaluate & let go of goals that no longer align with you
- Be gentle with yourself
