How to be more confident

Self-confidence it’s about accepting your uniqueness. Is so important to achieve your true potential. It reduces anxiety and stress in social situations. Helps you to be more happy and productive. It’s so necessary for your mental health! Nowadays, social pressure from our environment also weighs down the level of our self-confidence, but this is a skill you must learn. It’s a state of mind that can take you to places you never thought possible.

In this post, I’ll share some habits you can cultivate to increase your self-confidence, so you can live a more productive, successful, and happy life!

✨ Think positive

If you believe things are going to be bad, it’s likely they will be. If you think negatively about yourself, you will only attract negativity. If you are constantly putting yourself down, criticizing yourself, you won’t develop confidence. You have to attract positivity from the words you pronounce to yourself and on your life. Believe in positivity and you receive positivity!

✨ Start working on personal development

Improve your skills and knowledge. A key to being confident in yourself is to work on yourself. Your passions in life make you who you are.

What are you passionate about? Do you love reading, learning, painting? Relish in the interests and skills you have. This can help you to feel productive and generally good about yourself.

✨ Throw yourself out there

Confident people know that they are strong and capable. That they can take on new challenges even if they are scary. Start a conversation with strangers. Speak up when you want to say something. Go to that place you really enjoy even if you don’t have a company. Start doing what you want. These are some great ways to start building up your confidence.

✨ Recognize your strengths

Write down all your past accomplishments, anything that made you proud. Write your talents, skills, abilities, strengths. Everything. This can give you the boost that you need to start being confident! I suggest you put this list in a place where you can see it every day. Appreciate each day and show gratitude for your strengths.

✨ Stop comparing yourself

We all have been there. Especially nowadays with all the social media platforms, we tend to compare ourselves even more. I truly believe that constantly scrolling through your social media feeds can cause unhappiness and stress. Avoid the situations that trigger the comparison. We have to stop it in order to become confident. You should always be grateful for what you have and what is good in your life.

✨ Don’t worry about what other people think

Don’t worry whether people will like it or not, what will they say or think. You can’t please everyone. Simple as that. Focus on what is important to you and that makes you happy and forget other people’s opinions.

✨ Celebrate the success of others

Never bring others down to make yourself look better. When you lack confidence, you tend to compete with them. It’s time to realize that there is enough room for everyone. Help each other up, celebrate all the victories, surround yourself with positive people who will clap for you too.

✨ Stand tall and sit up straight

Good posture can help you feel more confident in yourself. Can add more conviction to how you state your beliefs.  Standing straight, arching your shoulders, and holding your head high, it makes a big difference in how you see yourself.  And people tend to have a positive impression of you.

I hope this post helps you to learn how to be confident in yourself. Start looking and treating yourself with love and respect. Look at yourself and appreciate who you are and what you do 😊
