How to Reinvent Yourself

Do you feel stuck? Disappointed with yourself for not being the person you know you’re capable of? Want to reinvent yourself? It is a terrible feeling to feel stuck, to feel disappointed with the direction you are going. But let me tell you, everyone feels this way from time to time. It’s perfectly normal. We’re constantly learning, growing, changing.  Nobody stays the same forever. And sometimes we just realize that we’re not being the best version of ourselves. And we feel ready to change, to reinvent ourselves. That’s the beauty, we can reinvent ourselves anytime we want.

So in today’s post, I’m sharing with you some of the best simple ways to reinvent yourself.

Be realistic with your goals

Break your goals into small and manageable steps, so you don’t feel overwhelmed and discouraged. Be realistic about what you can accomplish. Don’t try to change too many things about yourself at once or achieve everything at the same time.  Take baby steps. Focus on the next step, not on the whole staircase.

Try new things and get educated

To reinvent yourself you have to leave your comfort zone. Try something new, a new hobby you’re passionate about, a new restaurant, a new exercise, explore new career options, travel, volunteer. Take online courses and study for that thing you’ve always dreamed of. Do something you never had the courage to do.

Forget what others think

Surround yourself with those who will support you along your journey. Don’t worry about others’ opinions. When you start to make changes in your life not everyone will be supportive. But you do you, forget all the judgmental toxic people and become who you want to be.

Take care of your physical and mental health

Create new positive habits that will help you reinvent yourself (a little self-promo to my 21 Days Challenge App to create better habits). Try new physical activities that fit into your new lifestyle, nourish your body, get enough sleep. And take care of your mental health as well. Make yourself a priority, relax, start therapy, practice self-care, have a social media detox once in a while.

Make physical changes

This one it’s the least important one in my opinion, but sometimes a little change gives us a great boost of confidence. Cut your hair in a different way or dye it, wear clothes you normally don’t wear, just have fun!

Be consistent

Reinventing ourselves is not something that easily happens overnight. It is a process and it is important for us to be consistent. Reaching our goals, becoming the best versions of ourselves requires dedication and commitment. Focus all your attention on becoming better every single day, don’t beat yourself up if you are not seeing the results you want right away because that is not how it works. Keep working and pushing every day.

I hope these tips can give you some guidance on how to reinvent yourself. No matter your age, you can always reinvent yourself to be a new and improved version of yourself, remember that 😊

To finish this post I just want to say a big thank you for all the love and support the past few days, for all the people who already bought and read the book, and for the really kind feedback. Truly means the world to me.

    1. Hi Athmii,
I think to have friends, let yourself wonder. Wonder about what that person thinks about something of interest to you. Wonder about what they like to do. Wonder about what makes them happy, what makes them laugh, or how they deal with problems. Then you will have some things to talk about. Think about what you like about them, and tell them. You will be nervous at first, but everybody will appreciate that you think positive things about them. Thats what makes people want to be around you. Be brave, start with wondering about people, then you can talk to them.

      1. Thank you for your suggestion i will definitely try it 😊
