You need your life to be organized to reach your full potential. Organizing, in general, eliminates unnecessary stress, keeps you focused and you can feel more accomplished!
Sometimes we are so overwhelmed with all the stuff we need to get done. So, if you have been feeling unmotivated and lost lately, and you feel like you need to get your life back in order, this post will help you with that.
Today I’m sharing with you some simple ways to get your life together:
📪 Clean out your inbox
Take some time to tidy up your inbox. Delete emails you know you’re not going to read again and unsubscribe from newsletters. Your inbox should be a place for you to receive important messages, not a place to store trash.
📱 Only keep useful apps on your phone
Organize your phone home screen and keep only the apps that you actually use and help you stay organized.
👛 Clean your purse and wallet
I can almost guarantee that you have something in your purse/backpack that you can get rid of. Clean out your purse and wallet once a week. This will help you find things so much easier.
📔 Use a planner
I highly recommend keeping a planner to keep your life organized. Plan your appointments, tasks, events, everything! This is an amazing way to organize your mind. Journal too! Journaling can help you improve your memory, boost your mood, stay creative, have better ideas, and so much more.
📝 Create a to-do list every day
This is a simple yet effective technique to help you feel more organized and it’s the easiest thing you can do for yourself to stay on top of things.
✔️ Use Trello for your big projects
Trello can make your life so much easier. You can record and track your goals and helps you work smarter towards your goals. I highly recommend you try it out.
🧹 Keep your home clean and organized
Having a clean and organized home makes you feel like you have your life together. You’ll feel a lot more productive throughout the day. Take 15 to 20 minutes out of your day to clean in the morning and at night. This will save so much time.
🥗 Meal prep
With meal prepping you can cook in advance, so you don’t have to worry about your meals every single day of the week. Prepare a considerable amount of food to refrigerate for the week ahead. I usually do this on Sundays because I have more free time, and it’s so worth it!
✨ Keep your desk organized
Keeping your workspace organized and decluttering it from time to time will make you feel more productive and a lot better working in a tidy space. And if you’re working from home, this is even more important for you!
💰 Track your finances
You can use an app, a spreadsheet, or a financial planner for this. Tracking your finances will not only save you money and show you what you’re spending on, but it will also teach you how to be more responsible and get closer to your goals.
🛏️ Set a sleeping schedule
Not sleeping enough is the number one productivity killer. If you want to get the most out of your day, make enough time for a good quality sleep every single day. And if you can, try to wake up early. You have more time for yourself in the morning, and you’ll feel more productive. For me, waking up early is a life-changer.
📅 Plan your next day the night before
Pack your bag, your snacks, your outfit, and set your priorities for the next day so you can sleep peacefully. Facing a new day without being clear about what you need to get done makes you feel lost.
By simply adding a few extra habits to your day, you can get organized without even thinking about it. And it doesn’t have to be hard or time-consuming.
