Self-love is a basic human necessity. To me, self-love is such an important thing and, unfortunately, a lot of people lack it. And believe me, most of our problems come from the lack of self-love and our ignorance of that fact. And the more you learn to love yourself the more love you can give to others.
In today’s post, I’m sharing with you 7 habits that you should practice every single day to help you love yourself more.
1- Less social media
Most of the time we tell ourselves that we don’t have time to make things that makes us feel good. But, have you ever thought about how much time you spend on social media? Less time on social media equals more time for self-love.
2- Educate and invest in yourself
Invest your time in learning something new that sounds good to you. There’re lots of different courses ready for you to explore for free. Never stop educating yourself. Set goals to reach your dreams. Believe in your own abilities.
3- Move your body
Move your body with love, not hate. Move your body to feel good. Do yoga, dance, run, swim, go to the gym, or do something you enjoy.
4- Stop with the negative self-talk
If you won’t tell these things to your loved ones, why tell them yourself? Don’t allow negative thoughts to creep into your mind. Encourage yourself to be more alert and replace negativity with positivity.
5- Positive affirmations

6- Practice gratitude
When you practice gratitude daily you develop and increase love for yourself and your life. Even if your day didn’t go as planned, there is always something to be grateful for. You can read more about how to practice gratitude here.
7- Stop neglecting self-care
Take a bath, put on an outfit you feel good in, read, have a nice walk, and eat your favorite meal. The little things matter. These small actions are powerful subconscious reminders that you’re worth taking care of.
It’s important to remember that it’s never too late to learn how to love yourself more. Self-love is a continuous process and one of the most beneficial things you do for yourself.
