Spring is here

Spring is here.

And I swear, something in me just wakes up.

It’s not even something I plan. It just happens. One day, I’m in that slow, heavy winter rhythm, staying inside, working a lot, moving a little less, and then suddenly the light changes. The air feels different. And I feel different too.

The days are longer now. Like, noticeably longer.
You look at the clock and it’s 7pm and there’s still light outside, and it almost feels like you’ve been given extra time. Extra life.

And the sun actually shifts something in my mood. I feel lighter. More open. Like I want to be outside, doing something, anything.

Everything starts to look alive again.

Trees that were empty are suddenly green.
Flowers show up out of nowhere.
Color comes back.

And every year, without fail, it feels like a new beginning. It feels like a new year!

Because this is when I actually feel motivated again.

I want to go outside more.
I want to move more.
I want to say yes to things again.
I want to be around people.

It doesn’t feel like I have to change my life. It just feels like I want to live it a little more.

And then I open social media. And suddenly it’s all:
“spring reset”
“everything you need to change your life this season”
“how to reinvent yourself this season”

And it’s a lot.

Like you’re supposed to optimize it. Maximize it. Turn it into some kind of transformation project. But you don’t need any of that.

You don’t need a full reset.
You don’t need a new personality.
You don’t need a perfect routine.

You can just respond to the energy that’s already there.

Go outside a little more.
Move your body in ways that feel good.
Notice the light.
Notice the colors.
Notice how your mood shifts when you give yourself a bit more space.

Let it be simple.

Let this be your fresh start.

What does this season make you feel like doing lately? 🤍
